NCRA has setup  two Radio Telescopes viz. the Ooty Radio Telescope (ORT) and Giant Metrewave 

Radio Telescope  (GMRT) at Khode and is on the lookout for suitably qualified candidates for the 

following positions of tenable at GMRT and ORT :

1. Engineer-D (Electronics) : 01 post (GMRT), Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 grade Pay Rs. 6600/-, Age : 35 years
2. Engineer-C (Electronics) : 04 posts (UR-2 GMRT, UR-1 ORT, OBC-1 GMRT), Pay Scale :                 Rs. 15600-39100 grade pay Rs. 5400/-, Age : 28 years
